I've been to Cafe Del Rey twice now, and both trips have proved worthwhile. While the sushi menu leaves something to be desired (uninventive, but still very tasty), both the seafood and landmeat (coining a new foodie word there) entrees were well balanced and delicious. Striped bass was seared with just the right amount of spices outside while remaining tender and meaty within. On a prior trip I ate the boar bacon-wrapped filet mignon, and it was out of sight.
Pros: Great food, ambience, friendly staff, good wine list
Cons: Somewhat out of the way
