We brought our cat Snowball in for an emergency exam when Covington Veterinary Hospital, our usual vet, couldn't get him in. As soon as I told the receptionist what his symptoms were, she checked with the doctor and told me to bring him right in, even though they had never seen him before! It was a good thing, too. Snowball had crystals in his urine that had blocked his urinary tract. If I had waited until the next day he would have died! As it was, he was one sick little kitty! The minute I walked in the door the technician came out to evaluate Snowball, then brought him in back right away when she saw that he was in bad shape. I talked to Dr. Redman and Dr. Olson that day, and they were both amazing. So caring and compassionate. I can't say enough about not only the quality of the care Snowball got, but how compassionate and professional all the staff were. They're a little more expensive than some of the cut-rate hospitals in Kent, but more than worth it, in my opinion.
I've since had all my pets transferred over, and I'm very happy with the care they've received. Dr. Redman even found a cracked tooth on my dog that had been causing him pain for quite awhile that my regular vet had missed. Turns out his poor appetite was because it hurt to chew!
I'm recommending these guys (they're called VCA Kent Animal Hospital now, I guess) to all my pet owning friends!
Pros: Best veterinarian I've ever been to!
Cons: A little more expensive, but totally worth it!
