Having travelled quite a bit, I've dined and drank in numerous cities nationwide. I consider myself a bit jaded when it comes to restaurants. I had come to believe there really was no new, different, interesting or authentic restaurant concept left, or any degree of service that could impress me. Then I went to Swimclub32.
I love this place. Swimclub is cozy, comfortable -- and style-y with a dose of unpretentious cool. I appreciate this place's committment to fresh, organic food -- and drinks done fresh and with class. I, myself, have never left swimclub "hungry." I like reasonably-sized portions that leave my hunger satisfied and my palate lit-up. If you're happy being served Herculean-sized poritons of average-tasting food (a good deal of which will end-up in a garbage can) you have plenty of other options.
I go to Swimclub for a relaxing, genuinely pleasurable experience. I've been there on dates, with my family, at a business dinner. No matter the occasion or mood of my group, the servers made me feel at home, and even taught me a few things about artesian wine or local organic produce. They know their stuff. They are consummate serving professionals who treat guests with a warm kind of pride -- like you're in their own home.
Pros: Service, freshness of food, atmosphere
