We moved to the area a few months ago and so when our parekeet was seriously injured last week we didn't know where to go. I was referred to the Suburban Vet clinic by another Vet as a place that could help my parakeet. I drove straight there and rushed in. When I told them that I needed help for my parakeet that had been stepped on they asked if he was a patient. I told them he wasn't. They said they couldn't help him then. When I stated that he was hurt and needed help the lady at the desk told me to wait a minute. She went in back and when she came back she asked if I had any other pets that were patients there. She said if I did they could help him. I told her I didn't and she said they wouldn't help him. She gave me a list of numbers I could try. I was heart broken that they could allow an animal to suffer for any reason. I did find a wonderful Vet and my parakeet is recovering amazingly well.
Pros: They seem to have good hours
Cons: They won't necessarily see you
