I was roped into this animal clinic with their offer of a free exam for first time customers. The doctor was very friendly and itemized everything and told me what was necessary and what wasn't. Since then, I had to take my two kitties in (seperately) and found out they both had a fungus infection. Both had cultures done after the free blacklight test was "iffy." After talking with some people I found out that Higgins LOVES to charge you for every little thing. The treatment they wanted to do would have cost me $17/week for 6 weeks and then they wanted me to do even more tests after to make sure it was gone (at $70 bucks for each cat, another $280). Another clinic, which I am probably switching to, would just do a simple test (that's free) and will usually give you the same information. They are really nice there which makes me really sad that they would take advantage of their customers. I have heard other stories about them testing for all kinds of things instead of just reco
