If you are a musician, or simply a music lover, this is absolutely, hands-down THE best place to catch an open mic in the city of Portland. Not only is the audience consistently attentive, the musicians that play White Eagle on Sunday night open mic are incredibly talented. I myself play there, and while I consider myself talented, I am always impressed, even intimidated by the high caliber of music that other musicians play. Blues, folk, country, rock, you name it-- the Portland musicians that come here are top of the line.\r

Sunday night at 8 is when you want to come to the White Eagle. Trust me, you will have a blast, either playing guitar on stage or simply soaking up the good vibes.\r

Pros: EXCELLENT music on Sunday nights, NON-smoking
Cons: Beers are over $4, food is a bit expensive
