The partners of a firm I work for took the entire office staff here for a holiday luncheon. I got the impression that they had to make reservations weeks in advance but it was so worth it! we took a late lunch and were a party of about ten, they sat us very quickly and had two waitresses wait on our table who were both very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was really busy at this time of day and I was told by my office mates that its almost always this way and that they have a great happy hour but that it was difficult to get a table and even more busy at that hour. I'm not familiar with the area so I had a bit of trouble finding it, its in an area with an office structure, a spa, and not much else. Kind of seemed like a strange spot for such a popular place, but I guess it works. The parking was a bit difficult but not impossible, it did look like quite a few people were parked at least a block away but I guess that's what valet is good for. The partners ordered a couple of appetizer plates that although were very delicious they were a little awkward to share with a group, it consisted of a salmon fillet, a crab cake, two breaded shrimp, and a ceviche tostada. Again very good but how can you really split that? one item each? I had the marinated swordfish with veggies and herbed risotto, the waitress said it was a popular selection and I can see why, the hole plate was very flavorful and well prepared, all very good but its worth mentioning that the risotto has such a wonderful flavor! Can't wait to try the Brig again, but I will choose my next visit carefully to avoid a packed house.
Pros: great food, good service
Cons: parking, very busy, low on romance
