Ella Mon hits the sweet spot 12/21/2007

I spend a lot of time shopping for myself, and almost as much finding places for my wife to shop. While I do manage to come up with the perfect gift for her from time to time, when it comes to clothes, I usually have to let her do the shopping herself.\r \r I found Ella Mona few months ago just after it took over the old Brazillis location. While Brazillis was a wonderful store, it didn't seem quite right for Seattle, nor for Ballard Avenue. Ella Mon, on the other hand, fits in perfectly. The owner, Monica, has put together a cozy, comfortable boutique full of dozens and dozens of pieces any fashionable, 30-to-50-something Seattle woman would want to wear. \r \r Monica and her helpful staff have repeatedly taken as much time as necessary to help my wife find just the right work blouse, party dress, or entire outfit. Some of my favorites have been a playful sweater from Spain and a soft, faux-fur light jacket, ideal for a fun holiday party. \r \r It needs to be mentioned that one of the best things about Ella Mon are the reasonable prices. From the everyday clothes to the perfect, once-a-year party dresses, everything is a great value.\r Pros: Great service; tons of things you will want to wear. more
