Gentleman that came over from CC Carpet took the measurements but never called back. When we called & dropped by the store, the store didn?t have any records of the measurements. I had to setup another appointment. The same person showed up. We signed a contract and I made the full payment on the spot.\r
Later on appointments were missed, received terrible customer service, installation done with defects and re-done and still there are defects. Following is a review based on categories where I tried to be objective.\r
Missed Appointment:\r
Initial inspection and estimate - 2 times\r
Initial measurement - 2 times\r
2nd measurement - 2 times\r
Initial installation - 1 time and late\r
2nd installation - never made the appointment but showed up\r
Lost measurements: - 1 time\r
Phone Calls not returned:\r
Initial estimator - 10 times\r
Quality Manager - 11 times and counting\r
Granite counter-top Quality;\r
Initial installation: Good\r
2nd installation: Low Grade\r
Defects in initial installation:\r
- Broken corner\r
- Edge not done as specified\r
- Counter-top edge is not a straight line pointed out by the quality manger himself\r
- Edges not smoothed out\r
- Out 3 pieces 2 pieces facing the living room with full view in 2 different thickness\r
- Granite counter-top not polished properly, quality manager added that since it was not done w/o water at job-site\r
- Work area left with debris\r
- Shims left in different places\r
- Plumbing person didn?t have the faucet that was paid for & as he mentioned that it was not the installation instruction to include a faucet even though one was paid for\r
- Water leaked from improper plumbing\r
Defects in 2nd installation\r
- Same Edge that was not in a straight-line got even worse\r
- Inside edges and turns are not aligned with cabinets which is very oddly visible\r
- Kitchen sink installed far (7"") that is prone to give back pain\r
- Low grade Granite\r
- Quality manager failed to contact after inspection
