I cannot emphasize how great the service and food is at Taste of Tokyo. I wholeheartedly agree with all the positive reviews on this restaurant. To illustrate my point: This is the only wait staff that my husband and I bought a present for. We receive a welcome there like we are in their home (and we only go there, maybe, once a week for the last year). \r

But, the negative reviews surprise me. Yes, they do things a little differently (such as come back to the table often until you order-that is their way of giving good service and to make you not feel neglected. They are not trying to annoy you. They ALWAYS do their best to give everyone the best service possible. \r

And to the person who had his friend translate the Japanese that they were saying about you: either you, or your friend, is lying. First of all, they are so kind, i doubt that that would happen. Secondly, although, they adeptly prepare Japanese cuisine with all the appearances that they would be native to Japan---THEY SPEAK CHINESE! They are from Shanghai. So any ""translation"" is an obvious fabrication on someone's part. Please do not put your own prejudices off on such warm and kind people. \r
Pros: Service! Taste! Price!
Cons: Parking (but the experience is well worth it!)
