I can't say enough about Table Mesa. My husband and I went to this site when it was Kyoto and were mildly impressed. We went back a few months later to realize that it was now Table Mesa. Being that my husband is a Texan, born in New Mexico, and also a chef, finding Mexican food that he is pleased with in Colorado is needless to say, difficult. Around the time of our first visit, we were engaged and on the lookout for a rehearsal dinner spot. After one meal at Table Mesa we were absolutely sold. We were greeted warmly. Our server was extremely attentive but not overbearing. She was very capable of making recommendations. Overall we had an amazing experience. We decided right then and there that this was going to be the place for our rehearsal dinner. We spoke that day with Jamil, the general manager, and set it up. We were able to choose our own menu and Jamil worked with us on a wine menu that would complement the meal. Nearly one month ago, my husband and I welcomed our friends and family to join us at Table Mesa for our last meal before our wedding. Jamil, as always, was there to ensure that our experience was memorable. Everything was perfect. The meal chef Roeder prepared for us was delicious, the servers were attentive and friendly, and a great time was had by all of our out of town guests. My husband and I plan to frequent Table Mesa often. They have an amazing pumpkin soup during the winter, and I can't wait to see what seasonal changes will happen for the spring. Even my husband can't say enough about it. Coming from a chef, that is a big deal. In a tepid sea of chain restaurants and sub par food, Table Mesa is a breath of fresh air.
