I took my Samsung TV set to the shop and I was charged $30.00 diagnostics fee. I received a call several days later about the total cost to fix it (250.00) with the explanation ($174.00 part cost plus shipping and handling and the rest for the labor). I said that it would be OK if the shop was ready to provide me with the copy of the shipping papers of the part that would be replaced for warranty purposes. I was told that this would not be available and I should come and pick up my TV. I assumed I would be given the diagnosis in writting for the $30.00 I had already paid when I come to pick up my TV. Instead, I was told they would not put anything in writting and they will give me back my $30.00. Even though I insisted on written diagnosis and paing for it $30.00, the shop owner rejected it. The owner made a comment that I was supposed to trust him and never question him. I obviously did not think so.
Cons: not providing diagnosis in writting and proof of replaced parts
