Our realtor gave us a gift certificate after moving to Portland from Chicago. We had heard great things from our neighbors and other friends. Things started well. The oysters were amazing and I don't really like oysters. But then the main dishes arrived. Everything tasted like burnt charchol which I think was supposed to be your famous roux. Desert was just OK. Thank God for the gift certificate, because I would have been very disappointed if I had to fork over my own money. It wasn't worth the $100+ we spent. Given that other people have had better experiences I would like to hope that the head chef was off for the night. I have no desire to go back.
