Thai Smile is a restaurant that is always consistently good. The family members who run the business are very good at remembering the "regulars" and can tell you what they'd recommend for you to eat. The heat level is up to you. I like hot and spicy but a 2* is plenty for me. I like the pad thai and either the soupy or dry noodle bowls especially on a cold night. They're always willing to change the dish if you'd like to add some shrimp, etc. They have a Thai Smile salad that is a little different and a good addition to a meal. The servings are plentiful and enough to share and sample what others are having.
