If you are in your 20s or early 30s, then the River West Condominiums is the place to be. I bought my place about 4 years ago when I was in my mid 20s, and have no plans of leaving. With 2 pools (water volleyball in one of the pools), outdoor grills, beautiful landscaping, conciere service, clubhouse for entertaining, and out going neighbors, I am proud to call ""The R W"" home. As for the condos, most of them come with nice upgrades (granite counter tops, hard wood floors, 12"" tile showers / bathroom flooring, and stainless steel appliances). A majority of the people I've met in this 213 unit space, grew up in small towns in the Midwest and have recently moved to the city.
Pros: Conciere Service, Location (near I-75 and I-285), 5 minute walk to the River and trails, the People
Cons: I would like to see the River West a little bigger (only 213 units)
