Late one night I happened to be scootering on Santa Monica Boulevard and noticed the Crumbs sign reflected in one of the shops on the street and decided to turn and drive by. Much to my surprise the place was actually opened! Unlike other cupcake spots, this place stays open til 11 and the folks there are extremely friendly. The cupcake options are incredible -- the Hostess is probably my fave (it has whipped cream in the center just like the real one) and the lemon cream cheese is also fantastic. (I think the cream cheese frostings taste the best.) Everyone says how great the caramel apple flavor is, although I think it's too sweet and tastes more like carrot cake. Since my first serendipitious visit, I've gone back a handful times and every time the workers have been so helpful & friendly. Finally, people in BH without attitude!
