I've had trainers before but I got the best results with the body doctor aka Tweety. I went in skeptical not expecting to join. Grew more skeptical when I wasn't sore after the first visit and another lady there working out told me ""no, you're not going to be sore."" I was taught by other trainers ""no pain no gain"" and would experience too much pain and stiffness days later. I'm not saying this was the case all the time because she will wear you down if you've been slacking but after three months I had lost 15 pounds and others could tell I worked out at a gym. I needed safety pins for my clothes.\r

The atmosphere is lively and most relaxing, there is no ""gym smell."" Plants and art work adorn the gym to give the feeling that you are not in a traditional sweaty gym. You will hear a mixture of motivating jazz music and upbeat house music. She knows her clients and their personalities so the atmosphere can change if she sense a low motivation level. You can also catch the news etc. on the tv. I've had memberships at the franchise chains and I am not knocking them but my gym of choice is the body dr. At the chains I can work out for one hour and never speak to anyone from the treadmill to the time I leave. Not at the body dr. It's smaller yet big enough, it's private and you are greeted when you walk in, usually with Tweety joking, and you are engaged in conversation throughout with new and old customers. \r

It's serious but she makes it fun. She'll have you laughing so hard sometimes you have to send her away and say time out..go to the next person.\r
