I first came to Lucky Deli as a child with my father. The butcher knife wielding cooks behind the counters scared the bejeezus out of me while simultaneously fascinating me. Since then, my family has been frequenting the Lucky Deli for the best roast pork, roast duck, and char siu in the city. If you venture into the realm of the scary cooks, be aware that you have to take a number to be helped. Also, don't let the pushy people intimidate you. Push your way to the counter. It's well worth it.
