Cute little museum--very little! But has some interesting fun facts about the city, and the whole Casper area. There is a fort in the back which is a replica of the 1860's, and sometimes they even have people dressed up doing demonstrations which is pretty fun. Best time to go is during ""Pioneer Days""--i think thats what it's called-- lots of old-fashioned games for the kids, native american story telling, buffalo burgers, and even ax-throwing for the mountain men out there!! Even if you miss the events, the river is nice, and the bunnies and the cottonwood trees. overall, good wholesome place, with a twist of history.
Pros: Inexpensive, family musum. Nice scenery.
Cons: Hot in July--but where isnt!!?!?
