I went for an exam and cleaning. I had x-rays and a brief exam, but no cleaning. I was told that I needed to have extensive dental procedures performed and given a very expensive treatment plan. Upon informing them that I could not afford the entire list right away, I was told I had to fulfill their expensive treatment plan before I have a cleaning. (Expensive meaning $8,000.00 and up.) Again explaining that it would need to be fullfilled in moderation but the cleaning still needs to be done, they disagreed. They wouldn't allow me to schedule an appointment after that wiothout speaking to the office manager, who never returned any of my 5 messages left on her voice mail. At my daughters first appointment, I was told, by Dr. Minyard, ""That is the standard procedure for this office."" A second & third opinion verified the work recomended by Embassy was unnecessary & over priced. I now see Dr. Nicholson at Cosmetic Dentistry of Murfreesboro and have had nothing short of a wonderful experience.
