I have been going to La Mirage for over two years and for the most part I have been very pleased with the service overall. I was referred by several friends in my area who recommended Monika. I travel an hour to get there because it's worth it to me and the price is inconsequential to me because of how satisfied I am. My stylist did an outstanding cut on my very difficult hair. I am very hard to please because my hair is quite unmanageable. I've been in Florida for 7 years and it took me this long to find someone who didn't ruin my hair! I love her cuts plus she is one of the first who styled it the way I like and I finally didn't have to run home to wash my hair and do it over. I don't mind the cost if the service, cut, style, color, etc. is excellent, which it was. I was so happy...finally...until I called to make an appt with Monika only to find out she left! Of course, having been in the business myself, I understand that no one will say where she went. Not only am I upset over this but so is my family. My husband said, ""oh no, life just got tougher (for him) because he's seen me come home in tears too many times. I don't know what to do now and I'm way overdue for my haircut. :o( If there is one characteristic I feel the salon could improve on is the dress code of the staff. There's way too much cleavage, etc. showing, which I think looks unprofessional. I think a more business-like appearance would suit this salon better. If anyone knows where Monika went please reply. I'm not sure it's worth the drive now that I'm back to zero with my hair. Pros: good customer service, pleased with cut & styling Cons: Dress is a bit racy, wouldn't bring husband or son there more
