Oddly, I think I've actually only been to Caffe Italia once for Italian food. Caffe Italia has the best breakfast menu in town (now that the Crepe Bistro is sadly gone). Yes...there's Baker's Square and IHOP...but Caffe Italia has a good selection of HUGE omelettes -- splitting an omelette is not unusual. Caffe Italia was the first restaurant I ever visited where you could write with crayons on the table cloth. Now...they do this at the Macaroni Grill restaurants. I've always been partial to the Caffe Creation. It's an omelette with Italian sausage, veggies and lots of CHEESE. Caffe Italia is not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but if you're looking for friendly service, good food and a pleasant atmosphere, this is a great stop.
