I was charged $2,788.49 for the installation of 31 joist hangers (by my count 17 of the nails fixing the hangers are bent and 6 nails are missing) and a 6.5ft stud wall below a sistered Joist. The first attempt at the wall was approx. 2 inches out of plumb (8/24/07). I was charged $520.51 to have this rebuilt (subsequently discounted to $300). After the wall was re-built (8/25/07) I got Tiger Home Insp. to look at it (another $200) (9/6/07). They said ""The installation was not performed in a good workman like manner - studs do not line up with top plate, over nailing and split studs that appear to have been re-used, wall is slightly out of plumb.""
