My boyfriend and I went to dinner at Cabernet. We expected a lot more. We dine out a lot and do not mind paying for quality service, wine, and food. We were sat at a table for 6-8 people and it was only the 2 of us. The hostess promised we would be comfortable but we were not. The 2 servers we had were clearly not trained for fine dining but now I know Cabernet is NOT a fine dining establishment. It took 15 minutes to get our wine, water, and bread. The lobster bisque was very salty. The steak was below average. We think the grill needs to be cleaned off because the charred edges had a bad flavor. At the end of the meal, one of the servers cleared the table by stacking our plates so high that another staff member had to come to her rescue. We hardly ate our entrees and neither server inquired why. After our credit card was processed the other server came over and handed us the dessert menu. They communicated like this through the entire meal. A lot of the guests were in jeans and one lady was in a sweat shirt. I guess they do not have a dress code. It was a very LAME experience and we do not intend to go back. Pros: I never have to go back!! Cons: staff, ambiance, food more
