I feel that many don?t realize the difference between Tex-Mex and Authentic Mexican cuisine, thus resulting in some unfavorable reviews concerning the food. If you?re looking for Tex-Mex you?re not going to be satisfied with your experience at Fonda San Miguel. However, if you?re looking to taste and enjoy the authentic flavors of Mexico, this Austin favorite is where you should go. I had friends in from Dallas and everything about our dining experience was fabulous. From the beautiful interior, superior service and quality cuisine, my friends and I were greatly impressed. This is a place that every Austinite should introduce to their out-of-town family and friends.
