My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to try skinny dipping and just some clothes free tanning. We've heard about nudism being considered vary natural and good for your health. For us, nudism was never a big deal. We are art lovers and love the uniqueness of everything in life. So we took a leap of faith and visited Cypress Cove. The location of the resort is great and easy to find.
We were greeted at the main gate and then the office. They take care of people in a very easy way. They gave us a tour of the resort and facilities. The place is gorgeous, there were families and people of all ages. TO be honest, the first thing that came to mind was about "Adam & Eve" and Eden Garden. It makes you think that we are in deed born to enjoy nature that way. Once we got back to the office we signed up and they gave us some paperwork with the rules and all that. They also told us that there was no pressure for us to get undressed, but we had to if we were going to use the facilities designed for nudist use. They designed a place for you to get comfy with first time experience called Clothing Optional. But we went trough to the nudist section asap (we went there for a reason, so lets get it over with and experience this!).
We walked to the pool area which is nudist area only and took everything off, ever the wrist watch. I have to admit that the feeling of the sun, wind and water was so different from ever before. The people were so friendly and you can feel a sense of high respect between everyone of all ages. The older people are sitting around playing cards, domino or just talking about places they been, young adults playing pool or just reading a good book, kids playing around. We even met a retired Navy Master Chief and talked for hours. Then we met his family of 3 generation nudist family. I can't explain the feeling with words, but it felt like being part of a big family of people who want to free themselves and experience the simple life. A+++++++ to try!
Pros: It is a family place and there are things for everyone to do. The GYM is awesome to!
Cons: They don't have an ATM in grounds. It's a hassle to get dressed to just go get cash.
