Adjacent to the now-inactive original Fordham brewery, the 242-seat club celebrates its 10th anniversary this weekend. Rams Head (yes, it's affiliated with Rams Head Live in Baltimore as well as several other venues in Maryland and Delaware) books similar acts as the Birchmere, Iota and Jammin' Java. Who goes? Attracts the same basic audience as the Birchmere, albeit with more Navy folk. What to eat and drink? A menu of salads, sandwiches, steaks, jambalaya and seafood from the Chesapeake Bay and beyond, as well as five Fordham brands on tap and a sixth "seasonal" choice. Tickets: Available from the box office or online at tickets.ramsheadonstage.com. Although this Rams Head is not all ages, the club does offer Saturday and Sunday all-ages and family events. Getting there: Parking is available on West Street or for $2 at the Gotts Court garage a half-block from the club. Here's a tip: All seats are reserved -- and you can choose your seat online. -- Richard Harrington (Nov. 2, 2007) more
