For me, the test of a good hair experience is what happens when I get home and have to maintain it myself. I do not like to fuss with my hair for hours. It needs to be low maintenance and yet look good. I have been on the hunt for a stylist who can accomplish this for a couple of years, and found one at Jazy. I had my hair cut and colored by Jasmine Bell, the owner, and I am very pleased with the results. I particularly liked the color process - the color is applied to damp hair, and then, instead of the usual 40 minute sitting around, I was placed under a steamer for about 10 minutes and that was that. Much more bearable, and does not dry and damage the hair like the standard procedure. She got the haircut just as I wanted it.
Very nice salon just west of Woodman on Ventura, so freeway handy. Jasmine is pleasant and professional, and shared some useful home hair-care tips as well.
