I'm from New Orleans, so when I saw that a NO-Themed restaurant opened right down the street from my school I was pumped. Big mistake.
Cajun cuisine is built on two foundations:
1. Being inexpensive
2. Filling you up
NOLA's restaurant fails on both these fronts. Their cheapest entree starts at $8, which is an affront to NO cuisine, which you can get locally for less than $4. Secondly, i ordered their crayfish poboy, which normally is enough for a meal and a half. It barely satisfied my for one ( I made a turkey sandwich afterwards ). Finally, not only did I get an over-priced, insufficient meal, but instead of the red beans and rice side that I ordered, they gave me fries, which I did not notice until I got home.
Cons: Ambience is not NO related at all, all workers were better suited to a mexican restaurant.
