Went here on a first date last night and had a little of everything (hence the name "aloe." - greeted by a friendly hostess and later, the chef, himself, dinner in its entirety exceeded my expectations. the calamari is incredible and my salmon came out perfect...even ordered the duck appetizer which would not have been my usual selection but would now highly recommend. overall, a great experience if you want to try something new. the decor is mediocre, and the atmosphere is casual; yet the food is top of the line.
