If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is not the place for you...If you're looking for something better and more creative Hots will pique your interest. In the 3+ years they have been there they have gone through severall changes and grown a bit. Now better than ever!!
The Best way to decribe Hots is like the menu says, "Latin Carribean Fusion." Although you can't really categorize in one way. Known originally for their tacos, they now have like 30-40 different tacos on the menu. Its clearly the CPK of tacos. With varieties like fresh marinated carne asada, crispy shrimp w/ smokey tomato chipotle sauce, chicken curry, korean bbq, duck, and kobe beef. The styles and ideas are enless...and all amazing.
Aside from Tacos, this year they have hired a few classically trained chefs who are adding a great deal to the menu and food quality. Of recent, there are weekend Chef Specials done different every weekend by the Chef (the best reason to go in my opinion).
I see people have said they are expensive?? They must be use to cuisine like Taco Bell and Del Taco because there is no comarison. The Tacos are very large and I know they use top quality fresh products (after talking with the Chef and owner). The meals and entrees are very reasonably priced especially the Chef Specials, for the quality and portion sizes.
Check out Hots with no, or the right expectations to understand there is no other place like it, especially in the valley.
Pros: Amazing, Different, Creative takes on food we are use to.
Cons: Parking because of the Gym next door.
