I would recomend Dr. Samara Cardenas to anyone who has children particuarly children with asthma. My son has been seeing her for a year now and I must say I absolutely love that woman she has my ultimate respect as a person and a Doctor. My son has asthma and it is severe he is 7 and his whole life untill we found Dr. Cardenas seemed like one long scary hospital visit this kid was in the hospital almost like every month. I was getting ridiclous and I was getting upset I have asthma my self and none of the doctors I was taking him to would listen or try to help him gain control of it my child couldn't even get too excited and laugh because if he laughed for too long he went right into an asthma attackThen we moved and I researched many Doctors and then one day we walked into her office and I was extremely anoyed because we had watied for almost forty five min. befor we were called back...And then she walked into the room and my anger turned into understanding it took so long because she is very personable and very caring and treats all her little paitents with genuine care and respect and you can see it in her eyes she is sincere and you can see by the way she interacts with your child that she loves them all and loves her perfession. My son always cried because he had to go to the doctor and always told me he hates the doctors and the doctors officeThat first day when we left from Dr Cardenas office my son for the first time didnt say anything negativE He said ""Mommy can I always come to this doctor? I liked her she was nice and Mommy she didnt just only talk to you she talked to me first and she let me tell her how I felT. Also just so you all know my son has had 0 visits to the hospital for asthma under the care of Dr Cardenas! She has his asthma under control as well as his alergies and he is a much happier stronger little boy and I dont have to worry about him as much when he is away from home. He can finally PLAY and LAUGH like a little boy should be able to.
