the bakery is snobbery. I was in hurry to get a cake for my 4 yr old boy and on the way home i saw this bakery was open. I bought a $9 dollors Japanese chocolate cake (5"" inch rounded cake) and i was in hurry to get home so I asked the lady if she can give me one free candle. She answered they do not have candles and she wrapped the cake into a ""supermarket"" style plastic bag. Well, that was a shock the bakeries in Chinese community they give free candle and plastic cutting knife and I heard this bakery is Chinese owned. They do sell reg. birthday cakes i think over $30, I wonder if beucase I didn't buy the $30 dollors birthdaycake so they won't give me a candle and nice bag. Even $9 a 5"" cake still a cake, I should get same treatment as buying $30 cake. I usually buy cakes in Japanese bakeries, they do not give you such snobbery feeling and they wrap the cake into a nice bag; and they also give you plastic cutting knife and free candle. overall, the cake taste OK and little too dry unlike a real Japanese cake.
