I deposit several checks every business day in my bank (not Legacy Bank). However my bank could not run one of the checks written from Legacy Bank as the numbers at the bottom were rubbed off. They said take it to the bank written and they could cash it so I could then take the cash and deposit into my bank. Legacy bank would not make good on the check unless I paid them $10.00 to make it into a cashiers check. They would then give me a chashiers check in place of the check! Tell me the difference in risk to the bank from giving me a cashiers check or giving me cash for a check written by one of their customers to my business from their bank!? Do you think this is user friendly to us the public? Was there any risk to the bank to make good on this check to me/ my business (I had proof with me I owned the busines the check was written to, and of cource proof ID).
Pros: Local and on Main St. in Allen
Cons: No one in the facility would help me with my check cashing problem without additional fees.
