Clay Oven in Monroe is in one of the most obscure places I've ever seen, sharing a building with a Shell gas station & mini-mart in a ""Red Barn"" building, but the inside of the restaurant is very nice, the staff is great (friendly and attentive) and the food is some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Chicken tika masala is one of my favorite dishes and Clay Oven doesn't disappoint. While this is what I usually order, I make it a point to try the things others as well. I haven't yet found a dish I've been unhappy with. In a city like Monroe that doesn't offer a lot of choices, Clay Oven is a delight!
Pros: excellent food & service
Cons: odd location offers little parking near the entrance, but worth finding
