We stayed there over Labor Day. They permitted a two night minimum (most places at the Lake ask for three over holiday weekends). the rate was only $79 per night which we thought was unusually reasonable. The place is very clean, the rooms a little tired, but nice sized. They served a nice continental breakfast each morning, they have a large basement with a large swimming pool, nice chaise lounges to sit in, and just a nice resort feel. I think the rooms in the back have the best view. The hotel was full and every parking space was taken (you couldn't bring two cars). The staff was polite and helpful. It is right up from the Hyatt Regency. Considering the good location we thought it was a remarkable bargain. It is not fancy but it is certainly comfortable. We both felt that there were way too many signs (everywhere) reminding us to not smoke, not bring in a pet, don't take home the coffee cups, save water, don't use towels unnecessarily, etc. etc.
Pros: Price and location.
Cons: Little tired
