I recently visited Heart & Soul after a recommendation from a friend to see Jill. The atmosphere of the salon is relaxed, open, and airy, with loads of natural light (which is important if you are having your hair colored). I was greeted immediately upon entering with friendly, welcoming faces and I only had to wait 1-2 minutes. The salon staff was hip without being snobby, knowledgeable without being condescending, and everyone I encountered was sincerely kind. Jill is an awesome stylist - I grabbed a bunch of extra business cards for her, knowing that I would be asked where I got my hair cut (twice now within a week of seeing her). She is super sweet and funny, and she spent a lot of time with me and really paid attention to what I wanted - and we discussed in detail what was possible with my hair (I think most of us have unrealistic expectations of both our hair and our stylist). There was never any sales pressure and I never felt rushed. I walked out with a fresh and stylish look that I absolutely love - this is the best haircut that I have ever gotten in ABQ! I highly recommend Heart & Soul - especially Jill.
