River city koi is a wonderful place for anyone who is tired of the hardware store (limited) water garden supplies and information. The person that helped me was Breeze and she truly made my shopping experience a breeze. I was learning through trial and error (mainly error) because I didn?t have an expert to go to for koi questions. I stumbled across this store and have had nothing but wonderful luck since. Most of the big stores have a very small section for ponds that might have some food and if you are lucky a fountain or two. River city koi has got everything from a wide selection of pond fish to filtration and supplies. They are people who truly care about your fish and are happy to know how you and your pond are doing. \r

What struck me as wonderful was how the first time I came in the store, I had a problem where I lost a 14 inch butterly koi and their response was one of sincere grief over the loss of my fish. This goes back to my earlier observation that they really care about more than just a sale.\r

The store is tucked away off armor road and I-35 and is a little hard to find the first time but once you do, you will never go anywhere else for your supplies, plants or fish. Also, in the event that you just want to stop by and see some beautiful fish, the have tons of them. They have everything from starter fish to some of the most beautiful fish I have seen. \r

In a nutshell, this is the BEST place to find supplies and information about water gardening and koi raising.\r

In case there is any question, they have a customer for life. I was almost ready to give up on my water garden until I found them. Now my water garden is the centerpiece of my yard and I am seriously thinking about putting in an additional pond in the spring.\r
Pros: Service, selection and above all knowledge
Cons: not easy to find and advertising is almost non existent, seems to be word of mouth.
