I just had dinner with my friend at Bugaloo. The place was not busy, but we did have to wait around five minutes before a hostess came to seat us. We were seated at a table next to two air vents that were blasting out cold air. Being that it was about fifty degrees outside, we were not welcoming the cold air. We told our waitress when we arrived how freezing it was, and she just said, ""OhhhKayyyy...."" like we were so rude for saying anything. She did not offer to turn down the air but she did tell us we could move to any table we wanted ,so we moved to a table that was not near an air vent. It wasn't much better...but it was tolerable. I ordered the braised flank steak and my friend had the mojo chicken. Both dishes were delicious and generously portioned. The ginger mojito's we ordered were also excellent. I decided to order my boyfriend the beef tenderloin to go as a surprise when I got home. When I arrived home and opened the to go box I was so surprised! There was one tiny morsel of beef on top of a dollop of mashed potatoes. My boyfriend thought I had brought him my left-overs (in reality, I had spent 20$ for a steak for him). It was such a sad portion of a meal I thought maybe I had been given someone's left-overs by mistake. I called the restaurant and told the manager about the disappointing take-out and the best she could offer me was a 5$ gift card. I will not be cashing that in anytime soon...
