Holt Electric was hired to do what turned out to be a very small job. We had problems arranging a time with them and had to reschedule our work days to suit them. The two ""gentlemen"" who showed up were snide and condescending regarding the job. No discussion of rates/charges etc. provided ahead of time. The job itself ended up taking less than 5 minutes for one of them (the senior member stayed in the truck) to complete. We received an explanation filled with electrician gobbleygook which seemed mainly designed to cover up the fact they handed us a bill for over $100 for 5 minutes of ""effort."" My partner works as an accountant for a medical practice and pointed out that's better than the salaries of the senior physicians at the practice. Definitely two thumbs down.
