What I like most about Wisteria is its total lack of pretense. It's not ""done up"" like so many Atlanta restaurants, where the decor is more impressive than the food. That's not to say I don't like the atmosphere...the hardwood floors and exposed brick walls make the place quite cozy. But the food is definitely why people come. The house-made ravioli with deconstructed pesto had so many wonderful flavors I was still talking about it two days after I ordered it. I'm really not a seafood guy and even I had to concede my friend's skate wing was good. And that's why Wisteria is becoming a favorite of mine ? the chef can take something I'd never order and prepare in a way that makes me want another bite. Somehow, I don't think the guys at those scene-y places could pull that off.
Pros: Great food, great staff, great atmosphere.
Cons: None I can think of.
