Lake Murray Reservoir is part of the Mission Trails Regional Park and open every day for picnicking (10 barbecues and 64 picnic tables), walking, jogging, fishing and boating. Rent a boat on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday. They have rowboats, boats with 5 HP outboard motors, and canoes. Bring your own boat for a $5 fee.
