My brother and I purchased two cows from a rancher who raises 100% grass-fed beef. Then they were butchered by Fentiman's or D&T Freezer Meats. During Aug. and Sept we called Fentiman's (D &T) several times. Both my brother and I were told the price for butchering. They said we would pay 45 cents per lb. of hanging weight. The cows were butchered on Sept. 14 and we picked up the meat on Sept. 24, 2007.
