I'm new to the Twin Cities and I was looking for a mexican place that could become my favorite while I'm staying here. After looking over the reviews on CitySearch I decided to give Pablo's a try. My girlfriend and I ended up there on a Saturday night at around 8:45 pm. The parking lot was not well lit, and there was maybe 10 people in the place. Once inside it took the staff about 3 minutes to realize we were there. Once seated our waitress provided us water, 2 cups of salsa and some stale chips that tasted like they had just come out of the bag. We ordered one of their very large burritos and a combination platter, all chicken, with a taco, burrito, an enchildada, and rice. The waitress had to come back and ask if I wanted rice or beans.
Pros: Good rootbeer, and if you like lettuce this is your place
Cons: No green chili, stale chips, flat tea, lackluster service, and kitschy decor
