I would avoid this practice. I have a high risk of skin cancer because of genetics and my own history with skin cancer and their skin checks were always quick. They overlooked a suspicious mole which turned out to be malignant melanoma. The tumor had grown greatly in size and depth and I was lucky it had not spread by the time I pointed it out to them. Had they of noticed it in a previous appointment it wouldn't have been a big deal. I had an invasive surgery which confirmed it had not spread. If they had noticed it before I wouldn't have had to have surgery.
