It may not be a very ""pretty"" restaurant, and the parking may bit a bit complicated. But when I crave Thai food, this is THE place to go. Don't dress up, it feels a lot more like a cafeteria than a restaurant, but I promise you, the food is quality and the value amazing. Chicken pad thai, that has the best flavor of any pad thai I've ever had (and I eat a lot of pad thai), only costs $5.50. And a thai ice tea is only $1.50. The curries are great, and everyone I've ever eaten with here, was really happy. I think the best way to find out the best foods are to ask people who are experts in that particular food for advice. I've asked several Thai acquaintances where to go for the best thai food in L.A., and they all mentioned Sanamluang. If you care a lot about ambience and can't put up with a little bit of complicated parking then please go somewhere else. I'd rather you didn't go, complain, and post another misleading bad review.
Pros: Food is great, and prices are low!
