I had a pair of two-tone Ballys (yellow cream down the sides, black at the heel and toe) that had seen some better days with the heels getting increasingly worn and unattached, they were faded and scuffed as well. The owner agreed that Ballys were worth repairing. \r

He gave two solutions: He'll repair the back sole, shine the shoes, and have ME try to repaint the yellow cream color on the sides and save a few bucks, or make a small investment and he'll repair the front and back soles and HE would repaint the yellow cream color on the sides. Since I know nothing about painting shoes, I took him up on the latter. A real no nonsense type of guy.\r

What I got was exceedingly awesome. Shoes looking brand new, spanking new paint job, and top-of-the-line Italian leather soles to die for. To me, worth a hundred bucks, at least, but I only paid $40.
