This is a man's steakhouse.\r
No offense, ladies - but this was obviously made for men.\r
Stand-up bar where I got a very nice Sazeracs Rye Manhattan.\r
Cash only. \r
All men waiters. Ours, Eli, was very good and had good suggestions.\r
The portions are kingly.\r

Yep, It's a man's place.\r
My wife enjoyed it as well, however, and we really had a fun experience along with good food. It's not gourmet by any stretch, but it is very fresh and tasty and a unique blast from the past. \r

We started out with the tomato and onions salad; thick slices of both meant for the special Luger sauce (which is like a shrimp cocktail sauce with A-1 added to it). Then we moved into the rest of the meal - a huge porterhouse for 2, sliced for us and served on a sizzling plate. It actually cooked while it was on the plate. A delicious creamed spinach and some hashbrowns served well as the side dishes. The steak was very good, if a bit pricey.\r

We had a nice bottle of St. Emillion with the meal that complimented the meat nicely.\r
We walked about 3/4s of a mile from there up Bedford to the L on 7th St. so we could get a little Williamsburg flavor .\r

All in all a very nice experience and worth visiting.
Pros: Good food, lots of fun
Cons: Weird neighborhood, Cash only
