Peter Luger's is more than a steakhouse, its an experience. The restaurant itself is old fashioned, with great wood ceilings and panelled walls that are too rare these days. The steak is hands down the best I've ever had, and I eat a lot of steak. The best cuts of steak are the 'steak for two' and 'steak for three.' If there's four of you, get two orders of steak for two, trust me, it definitely make a difference. Service is simple, they are very unobtrusive, to the point that some consider it to be poor service, but it's really just the way this restaurant is - it's not Daniel. Deserts are great, drinks are great. Make sure to make your reservations at least a month in advance, this place fills up fast. And bring cash!
