I went here the other day after hearing about their purportedly stellar almond croissants from a Creative Loafing feature article, but alas, they are only served on Sundays. So I instead opted for the soup of the day- lobster bisque with a side of bread. It was so creamy and light, and the lobster tasted amazing. Also, I usually don't like mushrooms, but they were great in this soup. I should have begged for the recipe. The bread was also fresh and perfectly 'fluffy'. The people there are wonderful as well. The server had a cute accent, and the cook made me a chocolate souffle on the house, and then even paid for my lunch! I told him I'd definitely tell people about this amazing, refreshingly quaint cafe.
